What should I do to prepare for our session?
What should I expect during a session?
How long does this session take?
How do I go forward in purchasing wall art?
Be sure that your horse is freshly bathed, dried, and groomed at least ten minutes prior to the shoot.
I also recommend lunging your horse before the session, especially if you have a more high energy horse - they will need to stand still for a minimum of 20 minutes.
I use lights and a backdrop during our session. I've never had a horse had a problem with it, but just in case, we can take photos with no lights as long as we have a barn entrance.
I try to keep the black background shoots around 20 minutes. Most horses definitely get impatient after standing still for that long and I want to keep them happy.
Equine portraiture is perfect to display in your home. I work with a private printing company that makes 4x6 prints for frames to huge 48x96 metal displays. I will provide a price list upon request.
